A Home from Home!
A wonderful home from home! On arrival we had the warmest friendliest greeting, from the reception team, we went up to our room (an upgrade) we’re greeted cheerily by the housekeeping team! Our room 208 was spacious and well presented, immaculately clean and prepared, with a beautiful bathroom. Our breakfast was probably one of the best executed breakfasts ever had, the range of foods on offer, the lay out and the quality were all of an incredibly high standard. The staff did not disappoint either, attentive and helpful, all done with smiles and a genuine warmth, with an endless supply of tea, always a plus for me!!! We will definitely be returning A+++++

This was my fifth visit to The Fitzrovia Hotel. Obviously, I wouldn't keep returning if I did not have a good experience. This most recent trip confirmed that this hotel is excellent value for the price. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are adequate in size with all the needed amenities. Finally, the location. There are 3 tube stops within two to four blocks: Great Portland Street, Regents Park and Warren Street stops. Additionally, you can easily walk almost anywhere in Central London from the hotel. Last but certainly not least, there are many outstanding places to eat within easy walking distance to fit any budget. Yes I will return again, and yes, I highly recommend staying here.

Nice hotel in easily accessible and safe location. Delightful and very helpful staff. Building well maintained, warm and clean. Restaurant service good with food and plates appropriately hot. Bed and bedroom furnishings all good and comfortable but long very thin shape of room made it difficult to fully or easily utilise the space available. Two consequences of the room shape were that if we had chosen to watch TV in bed, half the TV was obscurred by one of two pillars and the bathroom mirror was at a 90 degree angle to the wash hand basin which meant contorting one's body 90 degrees to the right side in order to shave or apply makeup. Surprisingly for a London 4 star hotel the rooms did not contain a refrigerator and no dressing gowns were provided. Also despite being a double room it contained only a single chair. Some of the towels were rather threadbare and one had a hole in it though this was replaced after our first night. Though the lift was quiet and very smooth to use it happened to be located directly behind the wall at the back of our bed which meant we could hear a low rumbling sound every time someone used the lift. So though we are very happy to stay at this hotel again I would want a more regular shape of room which was not next to the lifts.
